Progress! This week with major mowing/cutting of the ground behind the cemetery, where the Pump House and Water Reservoir Tank will be, preparations begin for laying the pipe and digging foundations. While we are in Dry Dock, waiting for the time when pipes and concrete trucks can be moved to the island in October, Mark Sexton will be doing ground work. Soon there will be a five-foot-deep hole for the storage tank. We also anticipate seeing the Utility company in October hooking up electrical service for The Gathering Place.

While this work is being done, access to the Church beach is still open.
